2025 BYD Yuan UP 401KM is a stylish and practical fully electric compact SUV, combining a compact city-friendly design with strong performance and BYD's Blade Battery technology. Powered by a 45.12 kWh LFP Blade Battery and a 130 kW (177 hp) front electric motor, this version produces 290 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. It offers an official 401 km CLTC range, making it well suited for both daily city driving and longer journeys. The Yuan UP features a 5-seat cabin, 2,620 mm wheelbase and up to 1,320 litres of cargo capacity. Its compact 4,310 mm length makes it easy to maneuver and park while still providing useful interior space for passengers and luggage. Charging is also convenient, with 65 kW DC fast charging capable of charging the battery from approximately 30% to 80% in around 30 minutes. The vehicle also supports V2L external power output up to 3.3 kW, allowing the battery to power compatible external equipment. Higher-spec 401 km versions can also feature DiPilot intelligent driving assistance, including driver-assistance and safety technologies, depending on the exact trim.
